January 3, 2014 — New sales director at Horizon Healthware

Home Health and Hospice software provider Horizon Healthware has announced Hamilton Temple as its new Director of Sales. Hamilton comes to Horizon with a 23 year sales background in enterprise software, the last 6 of which have been in post-acute software sales and marketing and the most recent with Suture Health, the physician portal Software-as-a-Service provider.

“Hamilton brings to Horizon a mature, sales-driven approach along with a great background in home health care. His experience with both Authentidate Holding Corp/Inscrybe and Suture Health give him a provider’s perspective on current trends and issues in the industry,” stated Regina Parham, President and CEO of Horizon Healthware. “Horizon is proud to be entering its 22nd year in Home Health and Hospice. This past year we added quite a few new clients and having Hamilton join our team will help us continue that trend heading into 2014 and beyond.”

About Horizon Healthware
Horizon’s roots date back to 1984, when Ms. Parham began developing software as part of a home health consulting firm. The system that was to eventually become Horizon’s flagship PROMISE software application was written for small-to-medium agencies, as a simple solution for people who knew home care billing but not computers. A lasting business philosophy was born from the need to offer a low-cost, easy to use application with patient and personal training and support. Horizon Healthware was born in May 1992, when the computer division of the consulting firm incorporated as a separate entity.

Today, the system supports the requirements of providers of hospice, in-home aide services, private duty nursing, community waiver, homemaker/companion, outpatient behavioral health, group homes, residential treatment facilities for substance abuse/mental health and others.
